We work for a broad range of industries including oil/gas, mining, infrastructure, wastewater treatment etc. and our work takes us through a diverse range of landscapes throughout western and northern Canada. RC BioSolutions Ltd. has a dedicated and highly experienced group of biologists who specialize in aquatic, wetland, and wildlife impact assessment, permitting, and monitoring for a broad range of industries including oil/gas, mining, infrastructure, wastewater treatment etc.

 

We were founded and incorporated in October 2010. The firm has two partners, and is led by two senior biologists, each with over 28 years of experience. Our operations are based out of three offices: Sylvan Lake AB (head office), Edmonton AB, and Price George BC. We work for a broad range of industries including oil/gas, mining, infrastructure, wastewater treatment etc. and our work takes us through a diverse range of landscapes throughout western and northern Canada. Experience and adaptability make our staff able to provide the best service for our clients.

The firm is led by Richard Carson (President and founder) who is a registered professional biologist in both British Columbia and Alberta. He has over 28 years of experience in the aquatics discipline and in the environmental consulting industry. He has been the aquatics team lead and/or project manager for over 5000 stream crossings, 11 mine developments/expansions, hydro/dam projects, infrastructure projects, numerous EIAs, environmental effects monitoring (EEM) and many other aquatic related studies and impact assessments. In addition, he has successfully negotiated numerous fish habitat compensation authorizations with Fisheries and Oceans Canada.
